Here is everything you need to know about how the program works and how to enroll step by step.
Program Eligibility & Requirements
Before submitting your invoices, ensure your purchase meets the following criteria:
Minimum Purchase: Transactions must be worth more than NPR 100.
Personal Use Only: Bills must be issued for personal consumer purchases, not business or commercial expenses.
Valid Seller: The seller must issue an official bill with a registered Permanent Account Number (PAN) or Value Added Tax (VAT) number.
Ineligible Invoices: Commercial purchases, bills issued to government/public bodies, utility bills (electricity, water), telephone/internet services, airline tickets, or purchases from unregistered non-PAN sellers cannot be entered.
Cash vs. Digital Payments: How Entry Works
The government has streamlined entry based on your payment method:

Digital Payments (QR Code, Digital Wallets, Cards, Mobile Banking): Automatic Registration! If you pay via Fonepay, eSewa, debit/credit card, or mobile banking for an eligible transaction over NPR 100, your transaction is automatically logged in the IRD system and assigned a coupon code within 24 hours. You do not need to register manually.

Cash Payments: Manual Registration Required. If you pay in cash, you must upload your invoice details through the official government web portal.
1. Request a Genuine PAN or VAT Bill
Whenever you make a purchase over NPR 100 for personal use, explicitly ask the seller for an official PAN or VAT invoice. Make sure the printed bill clearly displays:
The seller's business name and PAN/VAT Number.
Date of purchase and bill number.
Readable total amount.
2. Access the Official IRD Prize Portal
Open your smartphone or web browser and navigate to the official Inland Revenue Department prize portal:

3. Fill in Invoice & Seller Details (For cash payments only)

On the portal home page, locate the Cash Invoice Entry Form (नगद भुक्तानीको बिल दर्ता). Enter the required fields accurately:
Seller's PAN: Enter the seller's Permanent Account Number shown on the bill.
Invoice/Bill Number: Enter the exact bill reference number.
Invoice Date: Select the date printed on the receipt.
Bill Amount: Enter the total paid amount (must exceed NPR 100).
4. Upload Invoice Image & Security Verification
Take a clear, readable photo of your physical purchase invoice.
Upload the image to the portal.
Complete the security verification/CAPTCHA challenge.
Click Submit to generate your official Prize Coupon Number.
5. Track Your Coupons & Check Draw Results
Save or take a screenshot of your generated coupon number.

Check winner announcements directly on the portal's Winners List (विजेता सूची) tab or through partner digital wallet notifications.

How to Claim If You Win
Retain Original Receipts: Even if you paid digitally, keep your original physical VAT/PAN invoice and digital transaction proof.

Verification: Winners must submit their citizenship ID, winning coupon number, and the original physical/digital receipt to the IRD for verification.
Disqualification Warning: Submitting fake, altered, reused, or unauthorized bills is strictly illegal. Fraudulent entries will result in coupon cancellation, recovery of prize money, and legal action under prevailing tax laws.
